AWB Group as well as Precision Power Components Inc. are aware of the importance of corporate responsibility. This responsibility is shown in our behavior towards our employees, the environment, our clients and our suppliers.
Most of our employees have been working at AWB Group for many years. AWB Group is continuously offering further trainings to its employees and fostering internal knowledge transfer, also between member companies of AWB Group. It is important for AWB Group to provide a safe and long-lasting working environment. Therefore, AWB Group works actively on reducing health risks for its employees.
With a certified environmental management system based on DIN EN ISO 14001 AWB Group contributes to a sustainable future. For AWB Group continuously reducing environmental pollution and energy consumption are as important as optimizing its production in order to make efficient use of natural resources. Thus, AWB Group has a strong commitment to sustainability.
Strict orientation on our customers’ needs and wishes is most important to PPC and AWB Group. Our goal is to be a competent partner for all our customers’ problems and questions. This means taking important steps – like a geographic expansion – together with our customers.
With most suppliers AWB Group has been working together for many years. If necessary and possible AWB Group qualifies its suppliers. In addition to that AWB Group has a sustainable supplier management, which makes sure that our suppliers respect employee rights, reduce environmental pollution and fulfill sustainability rules.
AWB Group and PPC actively support international guidelines for securing human rights (e.g. the UN Charta of Human Rights), employee rights, for the prevention of child and compulsory labor (e.g. ILO Principles, OECD Guidelines) as well as the improvement of economic and social standards (e.g. Global Compact).
AWB Group has implemented rules, which prevent discrimination and actively supports the implementation of international guidelines for the prevention of discrimination.
